WHY I DO THIS
I photograph the things mothers tell me they miss the most.
The sleepy cuddles. The way they scrunch up when they’re brand new. The little sounds they only make for a few weeks. The way a toddler looks at his baby sister when he thinks no one is watching.
Almost every mom I talk to says the same thing: “I was in survival mode. I barely remember it. I’d give anything to go back and slow down.”
And somewhere in the middle of all of it, you stopped being in any of the pictures.
I can’t give those days back. But I can make sure you keep them, and I can put you back in the frame with them.
WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT
Before I ever picked up a camera, I spent years working as a professional video editor. So alongside your photographs, I can make you a short cinematic film with the real sound in it. Their voices. The giggles. The noise of your actual life.
A photograph helps you remember how it looked. A film lets you relieve how it felt.
I photograph what’s real and unfolding, not a stiff, posed version of your family. The best frames usually come out of the chaos, not in spite of it.
THE FAMILY SESSION · $1,000
For families with children of any age, from brand new to teenagers.
Up to 2 hours, at your home or a location we choose together.
Included:
- Pre-session planning and a moodboard built around your family
- Wardrobe styling guidance: we choose outfits from your own closets together in advance, so nothing is decided in a panic that morning
- Professional lighting and a portrait backdrop brought to your home, so you get both: a few beautiful dressed-up portraits of everyone together, and all the relaxed, real moments in your own rooms
- Full direction the whole time, for the grown-ups who “don’t know what to do” and the kids who won’t sit still
- 60+ fully edited images, delivered in a private gallery you can download
THE NEWBORN SESSION · $1,000
Those first weeks disappear faster than anyone warns you.
Up to 2 hours at your home, with all the breaks you need for feeding and settling. Completely unposed: no beanbags, no props, no manipulating your baby into shapes. Just how it actually is right now, in your own light and your own rooms.
Whole family and pets welcome. Big siblings especially.
60+ fully edited images.
If your baby is already a few months old, we are not too late. We are simply capturing a different chapter, and it is just as worth keeping.
ADD A FILM
This is the part I care about most.
- 1 minute — $400
- 3 minutes — $800
- 5 minutes — $1,200 (for sessions with enough to tell: a full morning at home, a birthday, a whole day)
- Letters to Baby — $400. A few words from your partner and your older children about this baby, or about each other, woven into your film. Years from now your kids will hear their own small voices saying it.
Films are chosen before your session, because they add a little filming time to the day.
If you’re not adding a film, your session includes a short vertical teaser reel to share.
BABY’S FIRST YEAR · $2,400
They change more in twelve months than they ever will again.
Any three sessions within one year. Newborn, sitting up, first birthday. Or whichever three chapters fit your family.
Your dates are planned in advance, so you never have to think about “booking the next one.”
If you add a film, it can span all three sessions as one story of the whole year.
BUMP TO BABY · $1,600 — any two sessions in a year, if you’d rather start there.
HOW IT WORKS
1 · We plan it together. A short questionnaire and a conversation: what your days look like right now, what you want to remember, what you’re worried about.
2 · Wardrobe. We choose outfits from your own closets or my client wardrobe together, so everything works beautifully as a group and nothing is a scramble that morning.
3 · I come to you set up in whichever room has the best light.
4 · Session day We start slow and let everyone warm up. Kids are allowed to be kids. I direct all of it.
5 · Your gallery and film within three weeks, ready to download.
6 · Your heirlooms. When your gallery is ready we’ll talk through prints, albums, and wall pieces. No pressure, ever.
My kids will never cooperate.
They don’t have to. I don’t need them to sit still and smile, I need them to be themselves. That’s where the good frames live.
My husband hates having his photo taken.
Most do. He’s usually only needed for a few minutes, and I direct every second of it so nobody has to think.
Our house isn’t magazine-worthy.
It doesn’t need to be. I use one room and the light in it, and your home is the whole point: it’s where this chapter actually happened.
Is my baby too old for a newborn session?
Never too old for a session. The first three weeks have their own softness, but a three month old smiling at you is just as worth keeping.
